The lucky tigers are the only one-of-a-kind crafts in the Fukui Pearl Shop and are the quintessence of mother-of-pearl works.
It takes a skilled craftsman one to three months to complete each individual work, so it is not available on the market.
The body of the lucky tiger is mainly made of golden butterfly oysters and black butterfly oysters, which are pieced together into gorgeous cross-sections with triangular mosaics. They sparkle at different angles. After being polished, the surface of the mother-of-pearl still reveals the colorful pearl layer of the shell. One piece of work requires several golden butterfly oysters and black butterfly oysters of matching colors.
The rarity is due to the fact that the reflective color and surface curvature of each shell are also unique.
The three-dimensional shape is lifelike and powerful, and the cartoon lucky tiger is also cute and lively.
