Sai Kung Maritime Pearl Workshop [Cantonese]

If you want to go a step further, you can also pay an additional fee to have professionals help you make the pearls into exquisite jewelry. This activity not only filled our childhood with memories, but also promoted the development of pearl farming in Hong Kong's fishery and agricultural sectors.

We are pleased to witness that many pearl farmers and related parties have received support from various funds, including the Innovation and Technology Bureau , the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Office (formerly known as Create Hong Kong ), the Third Runway of the Hong Kong International Airport , the Environmental Protection Department , the Agriculture, Fisheries and Department and the Education Bureau . These have injected new vitality into the development of Hong Kong's pearl industry.

Since December 31, 2013, we have started pearl farming in Hong Kong again, and after several years of hard work, we have been committed to promoting the development of Hong Kong's pearl farming industry and offshore workshops. In the past decade, we have closely followed global trends, collected the latest information, and integrated this knowledge into the core content of our workshops, making learning more relevant to the needs of today's world.

In this 2.5-hour workshop, our instructor will take you to explore the mysteries of pearls, understand the formation process of pearls and their close relationship with the ocean. This will be a wonderful journey that will allow you to re-understand pearls and the unique charm of the Pearl of the Orient . 🌊🐚✨

Time required: 2.5 hours, including round trip

Facility Introduction: The workshop is located at the famous fishing ground in Ma Nam Wat, Sai Kung. The workshop can accommodate up to 40 people at the same time. There are toilets and dining facilities at the fishing ground. It is also open 24 hours a day (price negotiable)

Recommendation: This activity is suitable for people with good limb mobility and from different backgrounds. The workshop can be turned into a marine science activity or a company team building activity.
